airKrete®; helps to make your world even greener!
The building and renovation industry produces almost 50 per cent of landfill content. airKrete®; can help reduce those numbers as well as conserve energy by eliminating the associated disposal and reprocessing costs for waste materials.
Safe to use: airKrete®;'s principal ingredient is magnesium oxide which is derived from common sea water. airKrete®; foamed-in insulation uses no plastic or petroleum ingredients such as CFCs, formaldehyde or other toxic chemicals, so there is no off-gassing. It has been the insulation product of choice for many residents with extreme allergies and chemical sensitivities.
Safe to install: Because airKrete®; insulation is completely non-toxic, it's safe from the point of installation. Installers don't need to use special suits, gloves, or breathing apparatus when handling airKrete®;. That also means residents don't have to vacate the premises during or immediately after installation. In retrofit and renovation projects, homeowners can even go about their day-to-day activities in the house during the installation process.
