How it works

With airKrete insulation, once is enough for a lifetime of comfort.

airKrete is a foamed-in insulation that uses NO plastic, urea formaldehyde, formaldehyde, or petroleum-based ingredients. As a cement-based (i.e. cemetitious) product, airKrete consists of magnesium oxide (made from sea water) and ceramic talc.

During installation, airKrete has the consistency of shaving cream when "foamed into" the walls of houses and buildings at low pressure. Within 24 hours, it dries completely and will not expand, contract or settle over time.

The non-toxic air bubbles within airKrete create a high R-value of 3.9 per inch, so your home always stays warm in winter and cool in summer. Best of all, this high R-value can significantly reduce ongoing heating and cooling costs. Unlike other products on the market, airKrete does not lose its R-value over time, so you can continue to enjoy cost savings in the years to come.

A proven insulation technology for more than 20 years, airKrete is also fireproof, resists mould, and does not produce off-gassing.
